Collection: Trim VTS
Variable Trim System components control nozzle angle, which changes how the ski sits and behaves at speed. Trim down for better hole shot and bow-down handling in chop; trim up for top speed and a looser feel in flat water.
When VTS fails it usually fails in one position, and most riders notice it as a handling change before they realize the trim is stuck — the ski porpoises, refuses to plane cleanly, or feels bow-heavy through turns. Common failure points are the actuator motor, the linkage, and corroded electrical connections at the switch.
Before ordering parts, check the connectors. Salt corrosion at the trim switch and actuator plug accounts for a good share of no-response VTS complaints, and that fix is free.
