Collection: Spark Plugs
Plugs are the cheapest part on your ski and the first thing to check when it cranks but won't fire. We stock the NGK numbers that cover most of the PWC fleet: BR8HS and BR9EYA for older 2-strokes, DCPR8E and DCPR9E for the Sea-Doo 4-TEC platform, LFR6A, LFR6A-11 and LFR7A for Yamaha 4-strokes, and CR9EB and CR9EK for Kawasaki, plus iridium options like the LFR6AIX-11.
Two things riders get wrong. First, heat range — the number in the plug code is not interchangeable. A colder plug than spec will foul on a stock engine; a hotter one risks detonation. Second, gap. Check your service manual and set it before installing, because plugs do not always arrive gapped correctly out of the box.
Replace plugs annually or at every major service, and always replace as a full set on a multi-cylinder engine. Keep a spare set in the tow vehicle — a fouled plug is one of the most common reasons a ski gets trailered home early.
