Hitch balls, hitch pins, mounts, and towing hardware for PWC trailers.

Two things matter and both are easy to get wrong. First, ball size must match the coupler exactly — 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch look similar and will not hold. A mismatched ball can appear latched and still release on a bump. Second, every component in the chain has a weight rating: ball, mount, hitch, and receiver. The lowest rating in that chain is your actual towing capacity, not the highest.

Use a locking hitch pin if you ever leave the trailer connected and unattended. Check ball torque at the start of each season — they back off with vibration over time, and a loose ball is a failure waiting for the right pothole.
