Collection: Dampers

The damper is the rubber element in the drive coupling that absorbs shock between the engine and the driveshaft. It is a small, inexpensive part doing an important job: keeping driveline shock out of your crankshaft.

Dampers harden and crack with age and heat. A worn one shows up as a clunk when you go on or off throttle, and as vibration that was not there before. Because the symptom is subtle, plenty of riders live with a failing damper for a full season without realizing what it is costing them upstream.

We stock dampers for Sea-Doo, Yamaha, and Kawasaki PWC. Inspect it any time the driveline is apart, and replace it alongside the coupler rather than on its own.
