Bearing and Hub Kits

Trailer wheel bearing kits and hub assemblies for PWC trailers.

Wheel bearings are the number one cause of trailer breakdowns, and boat trailers have it worse than any other kind. Hot bearings get backed into cold water at the ramp, the air inside contracts, and that vacuum pulls water past the seal directly into the grease. Do that enough times and the bearing fails — often at highway speed, far from home.

Repack bearings annually at minimum, and inspect any time you see grease weeping from a hub. Check hub temperature by hand at every stop on a long tow: warm is normal, too hot to hold is a warning to stop.

A complete hub assembly is often the smarter buy over a bearing kit — it comes preassembled to spec, and the price difference is small against the labor and the risk of getting the preload wrong.
