Collection: Wiring and Electrical
Trailer wiring harnesses, connectors, plugs, and electrical components for PWC trailers.
Trailer wiring fails from corrosion, not from wear. Water gets into a connector, capillaries up the wire under the insulation, and corrodes the copper somewhere you cannot see. The visible connector looks fine while the actual fault sits six inches up the harness.
If you are troubleshooting intermittent lights, replacing the whole harness is often faster and more reliable than chasing a fault through corroded wire — harnesses are inexpensive and the diagnosis time is not. When installing, run the wiring so it cannot chafe on the frame, seal every connection, and keep the plug off the ground where it will sit in salt and grit.
