Collection: Winches and Straps
Winches, winch straps, bow straps, and tie-downs for PWC trailers.
Winch straps are consumables and most people run them well past safe life. UV exposure and repeated wet-dry cycles weaken webbing steadily, and a strap that looks acceptable can be substantially below its rated strength. Any fraying, stiffness, discoloration, or cuts at the edges means replace it — a strap is cheap and a ski coming off a trailer is not.
The bow strap does the real work of holding the ski forward against the bow stop. The winch line is not a tie-down; it holds position, not load. Always run a separate bow tie-down, plus rear tie-downs at the transom eyes, and check them at every fuel stop on a long tow.
