Collection: Piston Kits

Piston kits for PWC top-end rebuilds, typically including the piston, rings, wrist pin, and clips. We stock kits for Sea-Doo, Yamaha, and Kawasaki engines from WSM, Wiseco, Pro-X, and Wossner.

The critical decision is size. Pistons come in standard bore plus oversizes — commonly 0.25mm, 0.50mm, 0.75mm, and 1.00mm over. Do not guess. Measure the bore after the cylinder is cleaned up, or have your machine shop tell you what it bored to, then order to match. Ordering an oversize before the cylinder is measured is the single most common way a rebuild stalls out on the bench.

Order the matching gasket set at the same time, and replace the wrist pin bearing while you are in there. On a 2-stroke, inspect the reeds during a top end — they are cheap, they are already accessible, and worn reeds will hold back a fresh top end.
