Collection: Impellers
The impeller converts engine RPM into thrust. Chipped blades, rolled edges, or erosion from sand change the effective pitch and cost you both acceleration and top speed. A badly damaged impeller also cavitates, which generates heat and can starve the cooling circuit.
We carry SOLAS impellers for Sea-Doo 1503 and 1630 (130/170), Yamaha 700/760/1100/1200, Yamaha 700 Super Jet including Freestyle, and Yamaha 1800, plus WSM stainless steel impellers for the Sea-Doo 900 Spark and the 1503/1630 platform.
There are two reasons to buy one: replacement or re-pitch. If you are replacing damaged stock, match the OEM pitch and you are back to factory performance. If you are chasing hole shot or top end, pitch changes where the power lands — lower pitch for acceleration and towing, higher pitch for top speed. If you regularly carry a passenger or pull a tube, lower pitch is usually the right call.
One fitment note: SOLAS A-version and non-A impellers are different parts with different hub designs. Confirm which one your pump takes before ordering.
