Collection: Cylinder Sleeves

Cylinder sleeves let you save a cylinder that would otherwise be scrap. When a cylinder is scored deep enough that boring to the largest available oversize will not clean it up, re-sleeving brings it back to standard bore and gives the engine another full service life.

This is machine shop work, not a driveway job. The old sleeve is pressed or machined out, the new one installed with the correct interference fit, then bored and honed to final size. Get a quote before you commit — on some engines a good used cylinder is the cheaper path, and on others sleeving is clearly worth it.

We stock sleeves for Sea-Doo, Yamaha, and Kawasaki engines. Most common on 2-strokes that ingested water or ran lean, and on any cylinder damaged badly enough that oversize pistons cannot save it.
